Yoga Workshops

Yoga Alignment Workshop March 29th 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
Learn to move deeper in to your poses. Pre-registration is require $30, make cheque payable to Craig Slattery.
To register simply send a email via the contact button.
Limit space available. This workshop is not for beginner students.
Location: Iroquois Ridge Community Centre in Oakville (IRCC) at 1051 Glenashton Drive, Oakville, 905 338-4255.
Please arrive 10-15 minutes early.

Class Descriptions

Level I - Students are introduced to breathing style and fundamentals of both Ashtanga and Hatha Yoga.

Level I-II These classes are designed to improve strength, flexibility and endurance. A greater range of postures are explored. These classes are not for first time students.


Ashtanga Yoga - A yoga practice developed by Pattabhi Jois of Mysore, India. A dynamic and vigorous form of yoga (power yoga) that builds heat in the body. This Yoga will build strength, concentration and flexibility with focused breath awareness.

Hatha Yoga - A slower yoga, as compared to Ashtanga. Through the holding of poses, proper alignment and mindful actions of the body can be found. Hatha Yoga brings balance, strength, and a sense of well-being to the practitioner.

I understand that I should inform my instructor of any pain or discomfort during class. I agree to waive and release Oakville Yoga and its instructors and staff, from any and all injuries. I also understand that I should bring my valuables, purse, etc. into the studio during class in order to ensure the safety of my belongings.
